“ neera is a true healer. Her ability to stay so present, connected, observant, and attuned with me during our online session is something I haven't experienced in other online healing spaces. Even despite the distance and screens between us, she masterfully picked up on subtle cues that I didn't even realize I was giving and mirrored them back to me.”

In Greek, soma means body. somatic means “of the body”. somatic experiencing is a body-based therapeutic practice to heal on a cellular level by engaging body awareness as a powerful tool and intervention.
Somatic experience practice supports understanding how and where the trauma lives in our bodies.

somatic experiencing®
I weave in contemplative practices such as meditation, somatic katha (story), and somatic experiencing to explore sensations, longing, orientations, and wonderment/witnessing as you cultivate your sacred presence.
in my experience, accompaniment opens doors to holistic healing and liberation. I can accompany you in your process of inner discernment by simply being present.
I will engage in a brief discussion and offer gentle guidance to support your journey, following the s.l.o.w. presence process.

My approach
Deep listening: I have a deep respect for the healing and spiritual journey we experience from the moment of being conceived in our mother’s womb to our last breath. I am here to listen to you with all my presence and invite you to cultivate deep listening to your body.
embodied container: I offer a spacious container to support exploration of the intergenerational journey of deep transformation. My role is to offer a compassionate, slow presence as an invitation to dive into your healing process.
education/awareness: I offer awareness of the neurobiology of healing and contemplative somatic healing as we move along in our process.
My work is informed by the methods and practices of somatic psychology, contemplative practices, yogic science, somatic writing, and expressive arts.
