Welcome to S.L.O.W. Presence!
SLOW stands for Sensations, listening, orientations, and wonderment (s.l.o.w.).
S.L.O.W. Presence® is a body-based practice tool that supports cultivating a holistic presence—the s.l.o.w. Presence® Way is an invitation to connect with the body as a self-stewardship journey to pause, listen, and cultivate self-reverence.
We offer individual sessions and group practices that aim to heal, educate, and deepen an understanding of how trauma impacts our inner world.
Our work is rooted in Somatic Experiencing Practice (SEP®), contemplative practices, writing, and movement arts.
Hello!
I am Dr. Neera Malhotra. My work supports exploring a meaningful life rooted in healing, integrity, purpose, groundedness, and joy. We can not escape pain in life, but this life continues to bring opportunities to find meaning in pain. Life’s most significant meaning is to be with the pain, seek wisdom, and not look away. Living authentically is the ability to sustain the reality of who we are and desire to become.
Over the past two decades, I have studied and engaged in contemplative and somatic Healing practices and interpersonal Neurobiology. I have received certification as a Somatic Experience Practitioner (SEP®), training in movement arts as a sensory-motor art healing modality, and training in 300 hours as a Yoga facilitator, most recently as a Zen chaplaincy. I am committed to co-creating spaces for exploring sensations, transforming, and nurturing a meaningful, slow presence. You can read more about my credentials on the About page.
