S.l.o.w presence- inner chaplaincy

During the chaplaincy program with Upaya Zen Center, I spent the first year and beyond learning to cultivate a holistic presence towards my inner world, called inner chaplaincy. The idea was to offer a compassionate presence to the self, even while standing at the edge of moral distress and suffering.

Inner chaplaincy is rooted in dedicated devotional abhyaas, which is the essence of nurturing one’s heart.

S.L.O.W presence supported me in deepening my inner presence. it is an abhyaas a practice of cultivating a compassionate heart towards the self, especially when it feels like one is standing amidst the fire; or when struggling with moral distress, integrity, and its connection with one’s life vow/s.

s.l.o.w presence-Inner chaplaincy work is for those who identify as women. those who are seeking supportive somatic practices to reenter, reclaim, and rebuild their inner relationship with the self and transformative inner justice.

I can accompany you in your process of inner discernment by simply being present. I will offer gentle guidance to support your journey through the s.l.o.w presence-inner chaplaincy process.
